One of the most beautiful places I visited while in Italy in June was Positano on the Mediterranean Sea/Amalfi Coast. It could not have been anymore beautiful than I envisioned before arriving at this small town nestled in the side of a mountain that dropped into the sea. It was not only beautiful in the daytime, but also gorgeous at night.
The following are a three daytime images followed by a couple images taken in the evening. They will give you an idea of its spectacular beauty.
In closing, one more image from Positano taken in the early morning when most other people were asleep thereby leaving the small narrow streets to me and my Nikon D700 camera. At any other time of the day or evening, this location was covered with people heading to and from the nearby beach and the piers.
I’m admiring your photos while listening to Andrea Bocelli and making eggplant parmagiani … what a wonderful way to enjoy your pictures. I almost feel like I am there basking in the sun! BTW looking at your photos is very restful and relaxing and every night I’ve been awaiting your updates. Thanks for sharing! They are gorgeous as always!
